Meliodas Passes Torch to Percival in New Seven Deadly Sins Illustration

Nakaba Suzuki, the author of The Seven Deadly Sins and its Four Knights of the Apocalypse sequel, drew a new illustration featuring Meliodas and Percival, the two protagnoists. The illustration was released on July 4, which is considered as the official day for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

The Seven Deadly Sins manga ended ran from 2012 to 2020. It got an anime adaptation with four seasons of the TV anime and four movies. The first two seasons and Prisoners of the Sky movie were animated by A-1 Pictures. Studio DEEN took over for seasons 3 and 4, and the Cursed by Light movie, which served as an anime-only sequel. TV anime was a Netflix exclusive worldwide, while the movies had theatrical screenings in Japan. Two-part movie, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh also exists: the first part premiered earlier this year and the second is coming in August. Marvy Jack (worked with DEEN on the anime) and Alfred Imageworks are animating. All the seasons and movies, as well as a special OVA series, are now available on Netflix.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga started serialization in 2021, right after the original series ended. A total of 10 volumes are currently out. The anime was announced in May of 2022. Telecom Animation Film is animating the adaptation, which will premiere on October 8, and the staff includes:
