Atena is really doing her best in Episode 5 of Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory! Following the events in the previous episode, Atena wants to redeem the reputation of the Goddess’ Dorm to Sutea. In compliance with that, she plans a vacation for all of its residents, including Stutea.

To begin with, Atena books a place where all of them can stay in Summer. However, Serene is a shut-in and her only activities in life were at school and her dorm. Thus, she is not sure she will be okay if she joins the outing. Luckily, Atena gives her a gift that will make her feel comfortable even though she’s not at their dorm.
If you’re curious what Atena’s gift is, it was an umbrella with a moon image inside it. Serene is always saying that her energy is coming from the moon. As a result, Serene finally agrees to join them in their Summer vacation.
In my opinion, Serene is the most mysterious person in Goddesss’ Dorm. She is always talking about lunar technology, and she said she fixed Kiriya’s room in episode 2 using it. Moreover, she made Koushi her servant by kissing him, and because of that, she can tell what’s happening to Koushi even when he is at school. So I’m really curious if she has some powers that are related to the moon.
The time for the Summer vacation has come. They’re expecting a beach with a nice inn, but it seems that Atene booked the wrong one. Instead of booking an inn, what she got was a manor and it’s a haunted one. Thus, she is really feeling down for a whole day, but she manages to redeem herself because the open bath there is good.
The tenants of the Goddess’ Dorm together with Sutea decide to sleep with Koushi in one room and he can’t sleep because of that. While thinking, he sees Atena rushes out of the room, but it’s taking her a while to come back so he and Mineru try to find her. Mineru teases him as they walk in the corridor, so Koushi tries to run away to wash his blushing face, but he bumps into Atena.
Due to various circumstances, Atena takes Koushi into a room and they are the only people there. While inside it, Atena clings to Koushi while saying she will protect him. After that, she tries to kiss Koushi, but Mineru interrupts her.
My heart almost skipped in this episode 5 of Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory, and I’m really sad that the kiss was interrupted. Still, I hope it will happen in the future. The episode ends with Koushi and the others going to the beach. That means next week will be a beach episode! Episode 6 will air on August 18 and you can watch it on HIDIVE.
