My Hero Academia Manga Author Draws Class 1-B Students Kinoko and Setsuna

My Hero Academia author Kohei Horikoshi posted a drawing of Class 1-B students of U.A. High School, Kinoko Komori, Setsuna Tokage, and Shihai Kuroiro on Sunday. The manga creator also released a picture of Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya of Class 1-A on Saturday.

The illustration shows three Class 1-B students in hero attires; Kinoko Komori (left) is clinging to smiling Setsuna Tokage (right) holding her tight in the right arm, and far behind them can be seen Shihai Kuroiro with a shout “Wa”. The text above them in the picture reads “Kinoko and Setsuna of Class B“. The post came with the brief caption “Class B“.

Kohei Horikoshi draws the My Hero Academia manga, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 2014. The series released the first compiled volume in November 2014 and published the latest, 36th, volume on October 4, 2022. The manga inspired a TV anime adaptation by the studio Bones, which is currently airing its 6th season. The series also spawned three movies, each of which was fairly successful.

Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot of Volume 1 as:
Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of them all, gives him a chance to change his destiny…
