Oricon has revealed the official sales number for One Piece volume 100, and it has sold over a million copies. This makes the One Piece manga the first manga series in history to have 100 volumes with each one having over a million cumulative copies. The latest volume released last Friday on September 3rd, and it was immediately decided to be reprinted after release. You can check out the cover of volume 100 below:
Eiichiro Oda began the One Piece serialization for Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997. It has since become an iconic manga series with almost 500 million circulating copies total. Oda-sensei made a message for the fans after volume 100 released, joking how it’s already taking too much space in their rooms. The manga recently released chapter 1024, and the anime is getting closer to episode 1000. To commemorate the fact, there are still ongoing projects, and one of the most notable ones was the WE ARE ONE video collection of live-action dramas featuring some animated sequences. You can always check them all out (titled by the animated parts):

You can watch One Piece on either Funimation or Crunchyroll. Episode 991 will premiere next week on September 12, and Yamato will of course continue to be awesome. You can also catch up to the One Piece manga for free on either VIZ website or MANGA Plus. The new chapter (1025) comes out on Sunday, September 12, and One Piece is not done at 100 manga volumes with over a million copies!
