Overlord IV (Season 4) revealed two preview videos for the upcoming episode 3, which is set to air on Tuesday, July 19. The two previews are the “normal” version, narrated by Ainz (Satoshi Hino), and a special version narrated by a character who will have significant importance or screen time in the episode. In this case, the character is Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix, emperor of the Baharuth Empire. He is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai.
The synopsis describes the plot of the episode as:
Emperor Jircniv the Baharuth Empire is in a tight spot. The empire won the previous war by cooperating with Ainz and managed to come out of it nearly unscathed. However, the reality is different, as the imperial knights have lost their will to fight after seeing Ainz’s powers. After that, the empire had no choice but to submit and even Fluder, who was their trump card, has bowed down to the power. Still, Jircniv believes that Ainz poses a threat to mankind and secretly tries to form an alliance against him.
