SiM's The Rumbling Hits No.1 Spot on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs

The latest Attack on Titan opening song “The Rumbling” by SiM has reached the top of Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The TV Size version of the song came out earlier this month, along with the release of Attack on Titan’s 76th episode, while the full version is set for February 7 release.

The official upload of the opening, which contains the TV Size version of the song, currently has over 28 million views on YouTube. The band tweeted earlier this week, saying that the song also surpassed 20 million streams.

It’s worth noting that SiM’s “The Rumbling” was 3rd on the same Billboard’s chart last week.

Japanese band SiM (Silence iz Mine) was formed in 2004. It currently consists of MAH (vocalist), SHOW-HATE (guitar), GODRI on drums, and bassist SiN. The band has released 5 albums so far, with the latest one being “Thank God, There are Hundreds of Ways to Kill Enemies” from June 2020. They are currently signed with the Pony Canyon music label. In addition to the Attack on Titan theme song, the band also performed the opening themes for Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis and Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul.
