Spy x Family Part 2 Gets First Key Visual, October 1 Premiere Date

Spy x Family Part 2 has received the first key visual for the anime, as well as an October 1 premiere date. Part 1 of the series ended on June 25 this year, with the franchise trending online following the finale. There is also a teaser trailer:

Spy x Family Part 2 – First Key Visual

The visual was released on a special Abema program, which included 6 of the cast members. They were Takuya Eguchi (Loid), Saori Hayami (Yor), Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya), Kensho Ono (Yuri), Hiroyuki Yoshino (Franky) and Natsumi Fujiwara (Damian). They looked back on the first season before revealing the new visual.

Spy x Family Part 1 premiered on April 9, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi directed while WIT Studio and CloverWorks co-produced the anime. Based on the listing of the Blu-ray/DVD on the anime’s official website, part 2 will have 13 episodes. You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia, and Crunchyroll describes the story:
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!

Tatsuya Endo writes and draws the original Spy x Family manga series, which has been serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website since 2019. Viz Media licensed the manga series in English.
