The Devil is a Part-Timer is getting another sequel, as announced right after the broadcast of episode 12 of the second season. The sequel will premiere in 2023, but there is still no information regarding the format. You can check out the announcement visual below:
In commemoration of the completion of season 2 and sequel announcement, the special program titled I’m Home, Maou-sama!, which aired on Japanese television on July 7, 2022, will be released on YouTube on September 30, 2022, at 7:00 PM JST. The cast that appeared in the program are:
The Devil Is a Part-Timer Season 2 premiered on July 14, and it ended on September 29, 2022, with a total of 12 episodes. Daisuke Tsukushi directed the show at studio 3Hz. The first season of the series was directed by Naoto Hosada at studio White Fox in 2013, and it had a total of 13 episodes. You can watch the series on Muse Asia and Crunchyroll.

ASCII Media Works published Satoshi Wagahara’s The Devil is a Part-Timer (Hataraku Maou-sama!) light novel series with 029 (Oniku)’s illustrations from 2011 to 2020. It ended with a total of 27 volumes. The same publisher also started serializing a manga adaptation by Akio Hiiragi on Dengeki Daioh in 2012, and as of now it has 19 volumes available. Yen Press is publishing the original The Devil is a Part-Timer light novel series in English and describes the plot as:
Do you want fries with your hellfire?
A portal opens in the courtyard of the Devil’s Castle (a tiny walk-up). From it emerges a little girl who calls the Devil King “papa” and the Hero “mama.” Ashiya and Chiho are shocked to discover that Maou and Emi had that kind of relationship, but nobody’s more surprised than the two new “parents.” Will Maou the breadwinner be able to make the grade when it comes to child rearing? And will this spell the end of the starry-eyed Emi’s romantic ambitions?
