The upcoming reboot of Urusei Yatsura has revealed three more cast members who joining the anime. Kenta Miyake, Takahiro Sakurai, and Marina Inoue are voicing Onsen-Mark, Tsubame Ozuno, and Ryoko Mendo respectively. Visuals for all three characters were also unveiled together with the ghost cat Kotatsu Neko. The series released a second visual last week and the first episode premieres on October 13.
Studio David Production is animating the four-cour series with Takahiro Kamei, Yasuhiro Kimura, and Takahashi Hideya acting as directors. Sumire Uesaka is voicing the main character Lum and Hiroshi Kamiya is playing Ataru Moroboshi. The rest of the Urusei Yatsura cast includes:
The anime adaptation of Urusei Yatsura is based on the manga by the author of Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine with a total of 34 volumes. The series previously received an anime adaptation before by Studio Pierrot and Studio Deen which aired from October 1981 to March 1986.

In a high-stakes game of tag, Ataru must touch Lum’s horns in ten days—or aliens will take over the earth! The fact that Lum can fly doesn’t make Ataru’s job any easier.
