Ya Boy Kongming Opening Song to Get Full Version on May 20

QUEENDOM’s catchy opening song from this season’s Ya Boy Kongming anime is getting a full version release on May 20. “Ciki Ciki Bam Bam” is a cover of a song by Hungarian artist Jolly (Tarcsi Zoltan). The Japanese lyrics were written by Rucca while M.O.R did the arrangement. QUEENDOM is a special unit whose members include artists Hibiki and Moka from lol, Akina and Taki from FAKY, and Maria Kaneya from GENIC.

The TV-size version of the song is available with the creditless opening of the anime, which currently has over 7.4 million views on YouTube. The song is also available to stream.

Ya Boy Kongming opening is the only song by QUEENDOM used in the series so far. 96Neko is performing the ending song, which is titled “Kibun Jojo” and also voicing one of the protagonists, Eiko. In addition, Ryotaro Okiayu is voicing the titular protagonist Kongming.

Shu Honma is directing Ya Boy Kongming anime, with Kanami Sekiguchi as character designer. Yoko Yonaiyama is overseeing series composition, while Genki Hikota is composing the music. The anime, which is streaming on HiDIVE, is based on a manga by Yuto Yotsuba and Ryo Ogawa.

Kodansha is publishing the manga in English and describes the plot as:
General of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. So on his deathbed, he wished only to be reborn into a peaceful world…and was sent straight to modern-day party-central, Tokyo! Can even a brilliant strategist like Kongming adapt to the wild beats and even wilder party people?!
