Ya Boy Kongming! is a manga series written by Yuto Yotsuba and illustrated by Ryo Ogawa. Kodansha first serialized the manga series on their Comic Days website and later on their Weekly Young Magazine. It inspired a 2022 anime series and a live-action TV Series that premiered in September 2023. The upcoming film Ya Boy Kongming: Road To Summer Sonia is set to release on March 1 in theaters across Japan and will cover all 12 episodes of the anime series with new live scenes added specifically for the movie.

Kodansha USA publishes the manga series in English and describes it as such:
The general of the Three Kingdoms, Kongming had struggled his whole life, facing countless battles that made him into the accomplished strategist he was. So, on his deathbed, he wished only to be reborn into a peaceful world…and was sent straight to modern-day part-central, Tokyo! Can even a brilliant strategist like Kongming adapt to the wild beats and even wilder party people!?
