Nanatsu no Taizai author will release a one-shot on MangaONE app, Comic Natalie reported. It will be available on October 31. Shogakukan Comic further noted the manga will be split into two parts.
Suzuki Nakaba started Nanatsu no Taizai in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2012 and ended it on March 25, 2020. This time, he drew a one-shot for the first time in 10 years, Sono Tenkousei X ni Tsuki (About That Transfer Student X). It follows around two characters, a transfer student and her teacher, at school. In other words, the world has a completely different setting from his previous, fantasy manga. The author says the duo was “secretly popular” in Nanatsu no Taizai and the appearances are the same, their relationship remains almost the same. [We are quite sure they are inspired from Nanatsu no Taizai‘s Derieri and Monspeet! We are glad to see them again!] Additionally, he would like Nanatsu no Taizai fans to read the one-shot, and hopes those who like this manga but have never tried Nanatsu no Taizai give it a shot.

Suzuki Nakaba: The heroine and the teacher in the one-shot “Sono Tenkousei X ni Tsuki” that I could draw this time are based on a duo, the foe [of the protagonists] who was secretly popular in “Nanatsu no Taizai“. Their appearances are the same, and their relationship remains fairly the same (?). (The world view is totally different, though.) I strongly hope you read “Sono Tenkousei X ni Tsuki” if you know “Nanatsu no Taizai“!! On the other hand, if you like this one-shot, I really, really hope you also check “Nanatsu no Taizai“!!
