Attack on Titan Vol. 34 Ranks 3rd on NYT Comic Best-Seller List

Volume 34 of Attack on Titan manga ranked 3rd on the New York Times Graphic Books and Manga Best-Seller List. The 34th and final volume of the highly acclaimed manga series came out in English on October 19, 2021.

English edition of Attack on Titan’s final volume has 256 pages and costs around 8.50$ for the paperback edition on Amazon. It’s also available digitally, for 8$. Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English.

NYT Graphic Books and Manga list is based on monthly sales, and the current one was finalized on October 30. This means that volume 34 of Attack on Titan had only 11 days to rank. Mothering Heights took the top spot, while the 7th volume of Chainsaw Man came in 2nd.

The final volume came out in Japan on June 9th, and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, where Attack on Titan was serialized, celebrated it with a giant “Thank You” display in Shinjuku. Attack on Titan, by Hajime Isayama, sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, during its 11 year-long-run. The final chapter of the manga came out in April.

Attack on Titan also has a successful anime adaptation. Part 2 of the final season begins airing on January 9 and will adapt the story until the end. Studio MAPPA is producing the final season.
