Chainsaw Man anime revealed the opening theme song “KICK BACK” by Kenshi Yonezu in a new trailer, along with new cast additions. Ending theme songs will differ from episode to episode and include artists like Aimer, Eve, Vaundy, and TK from Ling tosite Sigure. There are a total of 12 ending songs listed. Maximum the Hormone is performing the final ending theme, which will also be used as an insert song. The anime will begin airing on October 11.
Kenjiro Tsuda is joining the cast as Kishibe, Mariya Ise is Himeno, Karin Takahashi is Kobeni Higashiyama, Pochita is Shiori Izawa and Taku Yashiro is voicing Hirokazu Arai. The information was revealed during a special screening event for the anime premiere, for which the main cast was present, along with director Ryu Nakayama.
Studio MAPPA is animating the Chainsaw Man anime, with Ryu Nakayama as the director and Hiroshi Seko as the scriptwriter. Kazutaka Sugiyama is doing character designs, while Kiyotaka Oshiyama is credited for creature designs. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music. The first trailer was revealed in June of last year. The studio previously announced plans to hire and train animators to work on this and future projects. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime overseas.

The anime is based on a manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The first part originally ran from 2018 to 2020 and ended after 97 chapters and 11 volumes. The continuation, dubbed Part 2, began on July 13 on the Shonen Jump+ platform.
Viz Media licensed the manga in English and describes the plot as:
