Food Wars, NGNL, Akame Ga Kill and More to Leave Crunchyroll on March 31

Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll has announced a slew of anime titles that will be removed from their catalog by March 31. In total, 62 anime titles will be leaving the platform, including the entire Food Wars series, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU series. Akame ga Kill!, No Game No Life, GATE, and Golden Time are also leaving among others.

In addition to the titles above, these are the other series that are leaving Crunchyroll at the end of the month:

The large removal of anime titles from Crunchyroll’s platform follows the recent merging of Sony’s Funimation and Wakanim platforms into Crunchyroll. This decision came after Sony Entertainment acquired Crunchyroll through Funimation in August 2021. The large majority of the titles that are leaving Crunchyroll are licensed by American entertainment company Sentai Filmworks, which owns HiDIVE streaming platform.
