Goblin Slayer is getting a game titled Another Adventurer – Nightmare Feast, which will feature an original story. The game was originally announced during a GA Bunko event that took place on January 5, along with new information and a trailer for the upcoming second season of the Goblin Slayer TV anime. The game will be available on Switch and PC (through Steam).
The Goblin Slayer: Another Adventurer – Nightmare Feast game will be published by Bushiroad‘s newly established label Bushiroad Games, which is dedicated to console games. The same label is also in charge of the new Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation game. Check out the announcement video for the label below:
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. The light novel features a slew of characters, none of which have personal names. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It’s the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue–a man who’s dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there’s no telling who might come calling next…
