Kyoto Digital Amusement Award Goes to Violet Evergarden: The Movie

The release of Violet Evergarden: The Movie had its own share of successes in Japan. It made over 2 billion yen in a little bit less than 3 months, and it even won the TAAF 2021 Anime of the Year Award. This time, however, Violet Evergarden: The Movie was awarded the Digital Amusement award on March 9, 2021. It’s a prize that the Kyoto prefectural government awards in its annual Kyoto Digital Amusement contest.

The contest was launched back in 2018 to reward young creators in Kyoto. The Kyoto prefectural government will hold an award ceremony on March 12, 2021. You will be able to watch the event via the Kyoto Content Channel.
