Anime Expo Lite VTuber panels feature bigshots from three major agencies

Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) take over the 4th of July weekend! VTubers from Hololive English, Nijisanji EN and VShojo are gracing Anime Expo Lite this July! Take a look at this list of virtual personalities who will grace the annual event:

VShojo presents the V-riety Show at Anime Expo Lite

Personalities from US-based VShojo will be doing a Japanese-inspired “V-riety Show.” It will be part of the event’s videos-on-demand. Projekt Melody, Ironmouse, Nyanners, Silvervale, Zentreya and Froot participate in this special feature. Most importantly, this is filmed inside VRChat.

VShojo describes itself as ‘a talent-first VTuber company, dedicated to the growth and success of its members’. The agency launched last November 24, 2019.

The “V-riety Show” pops up on Monday, July 5th at 12:00 PM PDT (Tuesday, July 6th, 4:00 AM JST).

Aside from the pioneering roster mentioned above, VShojo also handles Hime Hajime and their latest addition, Veibae. Anime Corner spotlights VShojo during its launch with a brief Q&A with its CEO Justin “theGunrun” Ignacio.

Hololive English VTubers at Anime Expo Lite

The next Anime Expo Lite VTuber panel presents personalities from Hololive English:

Join the Hololive English team Mori Calliope, Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina’nis, Gawr Gura, and Watson Amelia for games, announcements, and fun!

Anime Corner also has its own features on Hololive English as well. In addition, one of its members Gawr Gura has already reached the 2.5 million subscriber mark. Since its debut in September 2020, Hololive English has attracted millions of fans.

The virtual panel is expected to draw lots of viewers, even though the schedule for Hololive English is yet to be announced.

Nijisanji EN’s Lazulight

ANYCOLOR Inc.’s Nijisanji project will hold a live Q&A panel featuring LazuLight, the first-generation unit of Nijisanji EN. Elira Pendora, Finana Ryugu and Pomu Rainpuff will be reading questions from fans and answer them on the spot.

Being the latest group to debut, the unit showed themselves to the public last May 12. They also released their first single, “Diamond City Lights,” which has reached 900,000 views online.

Viewers can watch this Anime Expo Lite VTuber panel live this Sunday, July 4th at 12:15 PM PDT (Monday, 4:15 AM JST).
