The serialization of Ikumi Hino’s Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory (Megami-ryo no Ryobo-kun) manga series has officially come to an end on June 24, after 5 years of serialization in the Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine and a total of 35 chapters. There are currently 8 volumes out.
The 9th volume of the Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory manga will also mark the end of the series, especially for collectors. However, the release date for it is still unknown.
Although the manga hasn’t been licensed in English, it inspired a 10-episode anime adaptation in the Summer 2021 anime season. Shunsuke Nakashige directed the show at studio Asread. HIDIVE is streaming the series and describes the plot as:
Down-on-his-luck Koushi Nagumo needs a place to stay, and he finds one in the Goddess’ Dormitory at a women’s college. But to keep his new lodgings, he’ll have to become the “Dorm Mother” to the college’s most unruly and eccentric students!
