The meticulously designed 1/7 scaled piece features the lovely Akane in a fluttering school uniform, perfectly recreating a scene from the show’s ‘We’re About to Fall in Love For Real’ TV drama. Retailing for approximately $128, the 9.45-inch figure is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2024.
With all eyes set on Ai Hoshino, the rising idol has the world wrapped around her fingers. With a keen understanding that what she’s selling is a facade, she lies and dazzles her audiences. All of whom think of her as the perfect idol. But when she steps back from the limelight due to health reasons, it leaves many people worried. This includes gynecologist Gorou Amemiya, who is a big fan of the starlet.
But to his surprise, Ai shows up at the hospital where he works—and that’s not all. She’s pregnant with twins! A huge no-no for idols. But, he promises to help her through her pregnancy and to keep her safe. While out on a stroll he’s accosted by one of Ai’s crazed fans, which leads to his end. To his surprise he opens his eyes once more, only to find out that the object of his admiration is now his mom.
But the happy life of a reincarnated idol fan and his mom is also cut short by a deranged fan, and Gorou, now named Aqua, promises to get revenge on the person who took away his beloved mom and idol.
Currently available on HIDIVE and having an upcoming second season, Oshi No Ko took the world by storm during its almost two-hour-long premier back in spring 2023. Animated by Dogo Koba and produced by Shueisha, Cyber Agent and Kadokawa. Oshi No Ko is a must-watch for drama and idol fans.
