The upcoming Platinum End anime adaptation has revealed a new key visual, trailer, and OP and ED information. The anime begins airing on October 7th, 2021.

The new trailer for Platinum End is available on PONY CANYON’s YouTube channel with English subtitles.
BAND-MAID is performing the OP song “Sense”, while Yuu Miyashita is singing the ending theme, which is titled “Kofukuron” (Eng. Surrender Theory).
The anime previously revealed cast and staff information, as well as a PV. Miyu Irino and Yui Ogura are starring as the main characters.
Signal.MD (Recovery of an MMO Junkie) is animating the series, with 24 episodes in total. The anime will air from October 2021 to March 2022. Hideya Takahashi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) is directing the first cour, while Kazuchika Kise(xxxHOLiC) is taking over the second half. Kouji Ooya (No Game No Life) is doing character designs, with Shinichi Inotsume on series composition. Masahiro Tokuda is composing the music for the anime.
Platinum End is a manga by Death Note creators, Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The manga started serialization in Jump Square magazine in 2015. It ended in 2020, after 58 chapters, compiled into 14 volumes. Viz Media licensed the manga in English.
As his classmates celebrate their middle school graduation, troubled Mirai is mired in darkness. But his battle is just beginning when he receives some salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.
