Seven Deadly Sins Sequel Manga Starts In January

Suzuki Nakaba started The Seven Deadly Sins manga back in 2012. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine, and ended earlier this year on March 25th. He recently published a one-shot with characters based on Derieri and Monspeet, but that had nothing to do with the actual 7ds story. However, it was also announced today that there will be a direct Seven Deadly Sins sequel!

The teaser image reveals the main character, his pet and potentially the enemy in the background. It’s unclear who the boy is, but he’s most likely a child of one (or two) members of the 7ds main cast. It will be released in the magazine’s issue on January 27, 2021.

The anime’s final season [The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement] is set to start in January 2021 as well. The studio is currently unknown, but details are expected soon. Fans are guessing it will be Studio DEEN again. They will also be handling Log Horizon’s 3rd season and Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Battle of Kimluck. The latest visual for Nanatsu no Taizai:

Looking forward to the Seven Deadly Sins sequel manga, and hope the anime can properly adapt the last part of the original!
