Synopsis

The official English publisher for the franchise Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot as:

The Man-Killer Virus: a lethal disease that has eradicated 99.9% of the world’s male population. Mizuhara Reito has been in cryogenic sleep for the past five years, leaving behind Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams. When Reito awakens from the deep freeze, he emerges into a crazy new world where he himself is the planet’s most precious resource. Reito and four other male studs are given lives of luxury and one simple mission: repopulate the world by impregnating as many women as possible! All Reito wants, however, is to find his beloved Erisa who went missing three years ago. Can Reito resist temptation and find his one true love?

Seven Seas Entertainment

The editorial department of Shonen Jump Plus where the manga has been serialized calls the delay “regrettable.” In fact, the manga has also experienced halts on its Android and iOS apps since the work launched in 2016. As of 2021, it’s available on the official website Shonen Jump Plus, and Android. However, it has not been available on iOS app store, at least since 2017. Referring to both, the anime’s delay and the manga’s suspension, they make a firm resolution “World’s End Harem will never cease even in the face of obstacles”.

Last, but not least, compared to the protagonist’s 5 year long cold sleep, the World’s End Harem delayed date is subtle. You can look forward to it as another joy added to the Winter 2022 line-ups.
