Faker and T1 have just won their 4th League of Legends World Championship in 2023, sweeping Weibo Gaming 3:0 in the finals. As the only LCK team left, they delivered convincing games one by one and deservedly get the championship trophy and rings. Faker played extremely well, picking Akali for his last game and managing to get some crucial plays. Not to say the rest of the team wasn’t carrying their weight. Zeus and Oner both dominated each of the games from start to finish, and Gumayusi and Keria also stood their groud. You can catch the games below:
Keria especially made some big engages as Rakan in the final game, though again, the entire team was just functioning perfectly together. On the other side, TheShy was completely shut down in each of the games.
The finals MVP was Zeus on the top lane.
League of Legends is one of the biggest games of all time. Its Arcane animated series was first announced at the League of Legends 10th Anniversary celebration in 2021, and was developed and produced by Riot. Fortiche Productions is in charge of the animation, and they’ve worked on cinematics for League of Legends before. Some of their works are GET JINXED (Jinx), POP/STARS (Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa). They also did RISE for Worlds 2018 and WARRIORS for Worlds 2014. The first season of the animated series had incredible animation and production value, and season 2 is set to premiere in 2024.
