Days with My Stepsister anime concluded today with Episode 12, and a special visual was released to commemorate the finale. Studio DEEN animated the series, with Takehiro Ueno as the director. The visual highlights some moments from the anime, and you can check it out below.

Mitsutaka Hirota was in charge of the script, with Manabu Nii as the character designer. The voice cast for the anime consists of:

  • Yuki Nakashima as Saki Ayase
  • Kohei Amasaki as Yuta Asamura
  • Minori Suzuki as Shiori Yomiuri
  • Ayu Suzuki as Maaya Narasaka
  • Daiki Hamano as Tomokazu Maru

Crunchyroll is streaming the series, and they describe the story:
When his father remarries, Yuta Asamura winds up sharing a roof with his new stepsister, Saki Ayase, the hottest girl in his grade. Carrying the scars of their parents’ troubled divorces, they vow to maintain a respectful distance. But what starts as cautious camaraderie blossoms into something deeper from shared experiences. Is it admiration, familial love, or something more?

Days with My Step Sister (Gimai Seikatsu) is a mix-media project that initially started on YouTube. The light novel version of the series is written by Ghost Mikawa and illustrated by Hiten. It was first published in January 2021 by Media Factory under their MF Bunko J imprint. There is also manga adaptation by Yumika Kanade.
