Shogo Sakata (as Saku Chitose):
“Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle is a fresh portrayal of adolescence, and I was deeply moved when I read it. I feel very honored and excited to play the role of Saku Chitose among these characters, who are torn between ideals and reality, but who are still moving forward.
As a fan myself, I’m also looking forward to seeing Hiromu-sensei’s delicate and beautiful writing come to life as an anime.
Finally, I would like to share some of my favorite quotes from the original work: ‘Carry philosophy, celebrate aesthetics. Reach for the moon.'”
Manaka Iwami (as Yuko Hiiragi):
“During the auditions, I was attracted by the charm of each character and the shadows I could gradually sense, and I thought it would be fun to be involved in this production.Among the wonderful cast members, I enjoy playing Yuko, who is cheerful and energetic with no hidden motives, and whose mature side makes me nervous every time I play her! There is a lot of interaction between the characters in this work, but the dialogue is stylish and full of charm, so please look forward to it!”
Hina Yomiya (as Yua Uchida):
“The manuscript used for the audition contained many excerpts of conversations, and I went into the audition imagining what the atmosphere would be like so that I could live as Yua-chan.
I was still in a dreamy state when I was accepted for the role, but when the recording started and I experienced the recording atmosphere, I finally felt the joy of being here. I will do my best. I hope you look forward to the broadcast!”
Ikumi Hasegawa (as Yuzuki Nanase):
“As I write this comment, the recording session is still in its early stages, but there is a parade of thoughts and words that I have never used before! I’ve never been a high school girl like her! I am also impressed by Yuzuki’s charm.
I even feel like my potential is being brought out by Yuzuki, who is so much better than me, and it’s a fresh feeling and great fun to talk with my co-stars! Please look forward to the anime!”
Rumi Okubo (as Haru Aomi):
“I had previously read the original work, so my mind was sharpened, and I had tremendous concentration during the audition. I felt that I had come to a mutual understanding with Haru, so I was really happy when I heard that I had been cast!
Haru is petite and cute, but at heart she is a crisp, athletic girl, so I play her with that in mind. This piece is blue, beautiful, and full of sparkle, but the carbonation is never permanent, just like the Ramune drink. I hope you enjoy this page from the youth of Chitose-kun and his friends!”
Chika Anzai (as Asuka Nishino):
“This is a personal story, but I’m from Fukui Prefecture. The places that appear in the work are set in a Fukui-like landscape, so it’s kind of strange for me! I remember the air of Fukui during the dubbing.
Asuka is really like the wind—sometimes pleasant, sometimes warm and mysterious—but she is a very attractive girl. I feel honored to be involved in this film as her. Whether you are from Fukui or not, please look forward to the day when you can see them in animation!”

Yen Press licensed the light novel l in English, describing the story:
Being popular isn’t easy. It’s hard to beat Saku Chitose. The most popular kid in his high school? Check. An ironclad reputation that can weather even vicious online attacks? Check. A group of friends as attractive on the outside as they are inside? Check. But when a teacher asks for his help bringing back a student who has been shut away in his room for months, Saku’s perfect world will never be the same. What is this, some kind of normie harem story…?
Studio feel. was also recently announced for another anime coming this year, Chanto Suenai Kyuketsuki-chan (Vampire-chan Can’t Suck Properly).
