Zentreya, one of VShojo’s founding VTubers, has announced that she will be leaving the agency on July 11, 2025 to pursue new opportunities. The announcement was first made during a livestream and later posted to her social media, shortly before VShojo’s own official statement.
“On July 11th, I will be leaving VShojo for new opportunities and a new adventure,” Zentreya said. “My time here was long, and I had many fun moments. It will feel like the end of the world, but know that I will always be here for all of you.”
In her message, Zentreya says this comes from a desire for change and growth: “Sadly, times change and paths change and I decided I want to follow my own path and do new things in life. I hope you all will continue to follow me on this adventure.”
VShojo released a follow-up statement acknowledging her departure and recognizing her role within the organization since its launch in 2020. “Zen has truly shaped VShojo, being one of our original members… Among her many talents has been bringing together VShojo and non-VShojo members alike for collaborations, helping to drive inclusivity among creators.”
The agency confirmed that Zentreya will retain full ownership of her intellectual property and expressed appreciation for her contributions: “We’re sincerely thankful for our time working together… and we wish her the best on the next leg of her journey.”
Zentreya reassured fans that her content will continue: “Nothing will change other than where I am currently at.” She continues: “I know change is scary. It’s a scary thing to see something you saw grow change. But that is how life goes, we all take this walk eventually.”
Merchandise featuring Zentreya will remain available on VShojo’s website until July 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM PT.
Zentreya concluded her statement by thanking her followers and sending well wishes to the agency: “Thank you for all your continued support, and even if this is where your stop is, then thank you regardless! And best wishes to VShojo.”
