The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is officially getting a Season 2 anime. Studio OLM’s Team Yoshioka animated the first season, which ran for 12 episodes from July to September 2023. A comment from the author, Tenichi, was released, as well as a commemorative illustration from the series’ illustratior, Suzunosuke.

To think there would be a Season 2— I was without a doubt more surprised than anyone, and more thrilled than anyone else! To be able to hear the voices and see the movements of all the capture targets from the otome game “KimiSama”… Even now, it still feels like a miracle, and I can hardly believe it’s real. I truly believe this is all thanks to everyone who continued to support and cheer on Pride. I was also overjoyed to be able to work again with such a wonderful cast and staff. To everyone who supported Pride, and continued to believe and hope for a second season— You have my heartfelt thanks. – Tenichi
