Japanese visual novel brand kawaiinium has launched the official Steam store page for Tayutama: It’s Happy Days, a fan disc follow-up to Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity. The title, originally developed by Lump of Sugar, is now available for wishlisting, with a planned release window of August 2025. The exact release date will be announced later.
Tayutama: It’s Happy Days continues the story of protagonist Yuri Mito after the events of Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity, though the publisher notes that the game can also be enjoyed as a standalone experience. The new release will feature HD remastering and multi-language support for international audiences, following the approach of kawaiinium’s first title.
To preserve the original experience, kawaiinium plans to offer an official patch for the Steam version, restoring certain scenes and expressions. Additional details and installation instructions for the patch will be announced on the company’s official website. The story is described:
Winning a hot springs vacation in a shopping district lottery should’ve been a joyous occasion…
but in retrospect, it became the quiet start to what would be the most eventful, life-changing
summer of Yuri Mito’s life.
As the chaos with the Tayutai finally calms down, Yuri prepares to spend his final summer
vacation as a student at Sohsei Academy. Just when things start to settle, he rediscovers the
long-forgotten vacation voucher.
This is a tale that begins after the main story—an epilogue, or perhaps a side story that “could
have happened” somewhere along the way. A romantic, heartwarming fan disc that celebrates
the unbreakable soul-bond between lovers
Kawaiinium is a Japanese game brand specializing in high-quality adaptations of classic bishoujo visual novels for Steam, with an emphasis on accurate localization, HD upgrades, and support for official patches.
