Blue Box anime revealed a teaser visual and a Fall 2026 premiere date for Season 2 at Jump Festa 2026. Additionally, it was announced that the series will have an exhibition event in Osaka from March 7 to April 5, 2026.

The first season of Blue Box premiered in October 2024 and ran for two consecutive cours. Netflix licensed the series and is streaming it globally. The anime adaptation, directed by Yuichiro Yano, is produced by Telecom Animation Film. The series is composed by Yuko Kakihara, designed by Miho Tanino, and features music by Takashi Omama. The voice cast consists of the following:
- Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata
- Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano
- Akari Kito as Hina Chono
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyo Kasahara
- Kana Ichinose as Ayame Moriya
- Yuma Uchida as Kengo Hanyu

Koji Miura writes and draws the manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, which began serialization in April 2021. The story follows the relationship between Taiki, a high school badminton player, and his basketball-loving crush, Chinatsu.
