Bocchi the Rock x Yamaha Collab Details
After Bocchi the Rock‘s success caused everyone and their grandparents to storm music stores and pick up a guitar, someone at Yamaha had an idea. I wasn’t there, but I assume a Yamaha executive thought, “Those weebs are spending money; let’s get in on that.” And that was how the Bocchi the Rock x Yamaha collab was born. Well, not really. However, Yamaha realized that Bocchi the Rock was the perfect opportunity to plug a product. And that led to the creation of the PACIFICA611V BTR LTD (Pacifica Bocchi Edition), a real-life replica of Bocchi’s iconic Yamaha guitar.
Part of Yamaha’s PAC600 Series, the Pacifica Bocchi Edition is a stunning recreation of Bocchi’s guitar. The PACIFICA611V BTR LTD’s specs include:
- Seymour Duncan Custom 5 TB-14 and SP90-1n pickups
- Graph Tech TUSQ nut and string trees
- Grover locking tuners
- Wilkinson VS50 vibrato bridge
- Alder body with gloss polyurethane top
- Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard with a satin finish
- Push-pull coil-split switch (for additional tonal options)
If you’re lucky enough to track one down, the PACIFICA611V BTR LTD retails at around $825 (without tax). That’s the MSRP. Trying to get one online will drain your savings of a few thousand dollars. The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Bocchi the Rock guitar bag.
