The Date A Live franchise is getting a new anime project titled Date A Live F Last Date. While the project’s announcement released a teaser video and visual, it did not share the anime’s premiere date or format. Juni Nishimura, who recently directed the Mechanical Marie anime, will direct Date A Live F Last Dance. Studio Fugaka (Uzumaki) will animate the adaptation.

Franchise Details
The DAL franchise started with the Date A Live light novels written by Koushi Tachibana. Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fanasia Bunko (Dragon Magazine) serialized the light novel from its May 2013 debut to its May 2022 conclusion. The light novels feature illustrations by Tsunako. Yen Press releases the English version of the light novel.
Date A Live was adapted into several OVAs and five TV anime seasons, which aired in 2013, 2014, 2019, 2022, and 2024. The franchisealso boasts four video games, a mobile game, theatrical films, and five manga adaptations. Crunchyroll streams Date A Live.
Date A Live F Last Dance Synopsis
After the passing of Mio Takamiya, it seems that the long-standing conflict between humanity and spirits has finally ended. That conclusion allows Shido and his friends to bask in happy, peaceful coexistence. But when the Angel of Knowledge, Rasiel, warns of an impending catastrophe, it’s clear that Shido and Tohka’s war is not yet over.
