Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge Game Opens Pre-Registration Ahead of Release

A new browser game based on Shakugan no Shana has been announced, with pre-registration now open for Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge. The title is being released through G123 by CTW Inc., following the series’ 20th anniversary celebration in October 2025.

“Blaze Edge” will be a free-to-play web browser game with optional in-game purchases, playable across devices without requiring a download. Pre-registration is currently available via the game’s official website and social media channels, including WhatsApp and X (formerly Twitter). Players who sign up in advance will receive an exclusive phone wallpaper featuring original in-game artwork.

The announcement also included the reveal of new character visuals, highlighting protagonist Shana, a Flame Haze known for her red hair and blazing eyes, and Yuji Sakai, a “Torch” who fights alongside her against supernatural threats.

Originally written by Yashichiro Takahashi, Shakugan no Shana began as a Dengeki Bunko light novel series and later received a long-running anime adaptation. The story follows Yuji, an ordinary high school student whose life changes after encountering Shana and becoming involved in battles against beings known as Crimson Denizens, which consume human existence.

Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge marks the latest project tied to the franchise’s anniversary, with additional content and character reveals expected to be shared through official channels ahead of release.
