Yamaha is once again showing its love for kawaii anime girls. The company has announced a collaboration event with the Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk TV anime. The Yamaha x Botan popup event, named Horoyoi Sound Terrace, will take place at Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya from June 27 to August 16.

Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk‘s tenth episode featured Yamaha Sound Crossing. Norio Matsumoto (the anime’s 10th episode key animator) and Tomita Yoshimitsu (composing director) illustrated the Horoyoi Sound Terrace event visual.

The Horoyoi Sound Terrace collab will allow fans of Botan to view and play the instruments featured in the anime’s tenth episode. Yamaha will spotlight Akane Yusa’s PACIFICA612V II FMX electric guitar and the REVSTAR RSS02T. Meanwhile, the Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya café’s menu will include several collab sets and alcoholic beverages featured in the anime. These include BrewDog’s PUNK IPA, Shibuya Hazy IPA, and the violet gin soda cocktail.

The Yamaha x Botan popup will also occur at the nearby Cataratas Bottle Shop. The Chichibu Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo sake and the Hyakunen no Kodoku shochu featured in the anime will be sold during the collaboration period. With a two-bottle purchase receipt from Cataratas, attendees will receive a paper coaster at the Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya café.

Additionally, fans who would like to learn the bass or guitar for “Mebuku Toki,” Botan Kamiina‘s opening song, can sign up for workshop sessions. In-store record players and self-playing pianos will play the anime’s ending, “Kanjou Glass,” and the opening theme during the Yamaha x Botan popup event.

The event will be closed on

  • Saturday, July 18
  • Sunday, July 26
  • Monday, August 10
  • Saturday, August 14.

The management of the Yamaha x Botan popup has stated that, while admission is free, they may distribute entry tickets if the event becomes too crowded. Attendees should also note that the performance stage at Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya will be open during the collaboration. This may result in unassociated live performances.
