emaqi Adds 18 VIZ Media Series to Premium, Announces Seven New Exclusive English Manga Releases for August

Digital manga platform emaqi revealed its August 2026 content lineup, adding 18 VIZ Media series to its emaqi Premium subscription while also launching seven exclusive manga receiving their first official English digital releases.

Among the biggest additions to emaqi Premium are popular VIZ Media titles including Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, Komi Can’t Communicate, Ranma 1/2, Fly Me to the Moon, Fushigi Yûgi, Goodnight Punpun, Hirayasumi, and How Do We Relationship? The subscription service will also receive more than 75 new volumes from existing series throughout August, expanding a catalog that now features over 400 manga series across 2,000-plus volumes.

Alongside those additions, emaqi will debut seven exclusive English releases throughout the month:

• Searching for Skeletons (August 14)
• Black Terror (August 14)
• Climax Necromance (August 14)
• She’s Out of My League: Takane no Hana-san (August 21)
• Plus-sized Love (August 21)
• Ironfist Chinmi (August 21)

Six of the seven new titles will be included with the emaqi Premium subscription, while Ironfist Chinmi will launch as an individual release. The lineup features action, fantasy, horror, mystery, and romantic comedy, with publishers including Kodansha, Shonengahosha, Nihonbungeisha, and Coamix.

Among the new releases is Ironfist Chinmi by Takeshi Maekawa, a classic martial arts adventure following a young kung fu prodigy on his journey to become the legendary “Chosen One.” Romance fans can check out She’s Out of My League: Takane no Hana-san, a workplace rom-com about a seemingly untouchable office beauty hiding an awkward crush on her junior coworker, as well as Plus-sized Love, which follows an office worker balancing romance and her love of food.

The supernatural and suspense offerings include Devil of a Saint, in which a defeated demon commander is mistaken for a saint in the human world, Searching for Skeletons, a mystery surrounding a missing girl tied to a string of child abductions, Black Terror, a horror anthology by Matsuri Mido, and Climax Necromance, an isekai action series.

emaqi Premium is currently available in the United States and Canada for $6.99 USD or $9.99 CAD per month, offering access to officially licensed manga from multiple publishers alongside English debuts of previously untranslated series.
