The Grand Line leads straight to Quezon City! For the fourth year in a row, SM North EDSA is once again dropping anchor as the official home of ONE PIECE activations in the Philippines with the momentous return of Animezing North: ONE PIECE, featuring the supersized Giants of Elbaph, Dorry and Brogy. The event is set to sail from August 18-30 at The Block Atrium, SM North EDSA, Quezon City.

In a special collaboration between Toei Animation and SM North EDSA, the legendary anime activation puts the spotlight on towering inflatables of the legendary giant warriors Dorry and Brogy, along with the Thousand Sunny ship inflatable– a massive first in the country. The activation is also packed with MAXED-out activities, merchandise, Chopper meet-and-greets, and other exciting adventures that bring Filipino fans into the gigantic world of ONE PIECE.

Throughout the two-week event, fans can hunt for exclusive, officially licensed ONE PIECE merchandise from featured brands like Toy Kingdom, Miniso, GeekPH, Oxygen, Careline, National Bookstore, Filbars, SM Store, Funko, and Coolectzone. To top off the loot, fans who accumulate PHP 3,500 worth of merchandise can take home a limited-edition Animezing North: ONE PIECE Elbaph-themed tote bag, the ultimate gear for any pirate’s adventure. Fans who explore the activation can also get the exclusive Chopper paper hat for free!

Additionally, the launch event highlighted the announcement of RunRio’s highly anticipated ONE PIECE Run: Elbaph Arc, which will set sail on September 26, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Complex. Runners and anime fans alike can choose their own path on the Grand Line with 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K category distances. Previews of the race kit, shirt, tote bag, towel, and the spinning finisher’s medal were also revealed.

SM Supermalls is a chain of shopping malls in the Philippines and is one of Southeast Asia’s largest mall developers and operators, with 90 malls in the Philippines and 9 in China. It is described as the country’s most loved mall and an everyday destination designed around the lifestyles, passions, and needs of Filipino communities, delivering new finds, fresh concepts, and meaningful experiences.

One of its most popular projects is Animezing North, SM North EDSA’s umbrella initiative for official anime activations, where globally celebrated anime titles — including ONE PIECEPokémonDAN DA DAN, and JUJUTSU KAISEN— come to life through curated exhibits, interactive attractions, exclusive merchandise, and themed experiences at The Block Atrium. The project was recognized with a Bronze Stevie® Award for Innovation in Cultural or Community Events at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards held in Macau last April, honoring its innovative approach to anime fan engagement while driving strong mall foot traffic and sales.
