The upcoming Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei (Management of Novice Alchemist) anime revealed a first promotional video (PV), months after the initial announcement in September of 2021. Studio ENGI will be animating the series.
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Kanon Takao as Sarasa
- Hina Kino as Lorea
- Saori Onishi as Iris
- Nanaka Suwa as Kate
The story is based on a light novel by Mizuho Itsuki and follows Sarasa who is an orphan. The only way to success for her is to become an alchemist so she enrolls in Royal Alchemist Training Academy. Her master gifts her a store and sends her off into the countryside to manage it. Sarasa is quite surprised when she realizes the countryside isn’t what she imagined it to be but she decides to try and run the store and make a living. Fumi did the art for the light novel. A manga adaptation by kirero is also ongoing.
Ikehata Hiroshi is directing the Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei anime, while Yosuke Ito is doing character designs. Shigeru Murakoshi is in charge of series composition, with Harumi Fuki on music. A key visual for the anime was also revealed:
