Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 revealed a new commercial that highlights the July 1 premiere date but also introduces the opening theme song by CHiCO with HoneyWorks “Himitsu Koigokoro“. TMS Entertainment is animating the sequel.
Kazuomi Koga is directing season 2 of Rent-a-Girlfriend anime, with Kanna Hirayama on character designs. Hyadain is composing the music. TMS Entertainment also animated the first season of the anime adaptation, which had 12 episodes and aired in the summer of 2020. Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 recently revealed a new key visual that features all of the girls – Ruka Sarashina, Sumi Sakurasawa, Mami Nanami, and Chizuru Mizuhara. MIMiNARI and asmi who are performing “Ienai“ – the ending theme song.
The story is based on a manga by Reiji Miyajima. Kodansha publishes the manga in English and describes the plot as:
