BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War announced that the fist cour of the anime will have 13 episodes, all of which will be compiled on a single BD and DVD volume, which is set to release on April 26, 2023. The volume compiles a set of two discs with 13 episodes. The new BLEACH anime is set to have a total of four cours, but it’s not clear how many episodes each of them will have or when they will air.
The limited edition comes with a three-sided case, newly drawn jacket covers, and a bonus booklet. The BD volume is available at the price of ¥26,400 (≒$188), while the DVD volume is at ¥22,000 (≒$157). The anime will hold a launch event for the product on May 7 and the cast members, Masakazu Morita (Ichigo Kurosaki) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Uryu Ishida) will make appearances. The BD and DVD volume will be available for pre-order on Animate including the online shop starting from November 15. Those who pre-order the product will be given a serial code to a lottery you can apply for on Animate’s CLUB animate page until March 31. The winners will be notified in April and be able to participate in the event.

Animation studio Pierrot is animating the adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2001 to August 2016 with a total of 74 volumes. The studio also worked on the original TV anime adaptation aired between October 2004 and March 2012, which has a total of 366 episodes. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is currently airing this season with a total of four cours. The new anime is covering the manga’s chapters from the 480th to 686th (volumes 55 to 74). The cast members of the main characters such as Masakazu Morita and Yuki Matsuoka are reprising their roles as Ichigo and Orihime from the original anime.
VIZ Media licensed the manga series for English releases and released the final, 74th compiled volume on October 2, 2018. The official website describes the plot of volume 55, which compiles the first chapter of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc as:
