Light Novel Series Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha Gets an Anime

The Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha rom- com light novel series is getting a TV anime adaptation. A teaser visual and preview were also revealed along with the main staff and cast. The anime is scheduled to air in 2023.

Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha – Teaser Visual

Studios Gokumi and AXsiZ will be collaborating in animating the anime with Kazuomi Koga as director. Michiko Yokote is overseeing the series composition and Miyabi Ozeki is illustrating character designs. Hajime Takukawa is acting as the sound director while Pony Canyon produces the music. The main cast of the series consists of:

  • Naoya Miyase as Wataru Sajou
  • Akiho Suzumoto as Aika Natsukawa
  • Yumiri Hanamori as Kei Ashida
  • Mikako Komatsu as Kaede Sajou
  • And Kaori Ishihara as Rin Shinomiya

The TV anime adaptation of Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha is based on the light novel written by Okemaru and illustrated by Mizore Saba. The light novel was initially launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in December 2018. Hobby Japan later acquired the title and is publishing it in print with 7 volumes currently in circulation. An ongoing manga adaptation by Popuri Yoshikita is being serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace Plus website since March 2021. The manga is expected to release its 3rd volume on November 25, 2022.
