One Piece Film Red: Ado's New Genesis Music Video Surpasses 100 Million Views on YouTube

The music video for One Piece Film Red‘s theme song “New Genesis” has surpassed 100 million views on Ado’s YouTube channel since it was posted on June 15, 2022. Ado is performing the song and it is currently the fourth most viewed on the singer’s channel after “Usseewa” with 256 million views, “Odo” with 157 million, and “Gira Gira” with 129 million. Ado is the singing voice of the One Piece character Uta, who is known as Shanks’ daughter known and a diva in the One Piece world. Kaori Nazuka (Chelsea in Akame ga Kill! and Eureka in Eureka Seven) voiced the character in the movie.

One Piece Film Red “New Genesis” Music Video

One Piece Film Red, the latest anime film from the One Piece series, grossed over ¥2.25 billion (~$15 million) with 1.57 million attendees in the opening weekend in Japan, which made the biggest opening-weekend numbers when it comes to both the audience and earnings among films of 2022. It’s also the best-performing film in One Piece‘s history. The film released a commemorative illustration by the manga’s author Eiichiro Oda for the ¥18 billion (~$122 million) milestone on November 7. It’s screened worldwide and hit theaters in the US in early November. Box Office Mojo reported that the film grossed $9,475,251 in the opening weekend (November 4-6) in the country.
