Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Episode 5 Preview Released

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 released a preview for the upcoming episode 5 titled, “The Perfect Murder and Murderer (Part 2).” The episode synopsis on the website teases how Ranpo, after giving up on the mystery case, ends up in a car with Mushitaro Oguri, a man overjoyed by the “perfect crime.” The detective begins to talk about his reasoning behind the mystery and claims that the “destroyer” he is looking for is the same person responsible for the “mystery writer murders”, the same issue causing a stir among mystery enthusiasts, including Poe.

The next episode will air this Wednesday, at 23:00 JST. Crunchyroll and Bilibili are streaming it in select regions. See the episode’s preview images below:

Bungo Stray Dogs is based on a manga created by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa. It follows the story of a young man named Atsushi Nakajima who saves Osamu Dazai from a suicide attempt. He eventually learns that Dazai is a member of the “Armed Detective Agency,” and joins him. There, Atsushi discovers that the agency is staffed by individuals with supernatural abilities, solving mysteries and carrying out missions around Yokohama. Studio Bones is handling the animation of the series. The fourth season is set to have 13 episodes.
