KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World Episode 2 preview images are out on the website and the synopsis teases Megumin and Yunyun’s “special class” while monsters become more active outside. Has the seal of the evil god’s tomb been broken? The episode titled “The Magic Academy’s Taboo” will air on April 12, 2023 (Wednesday) at 25:00 JST. It will be available to watch on Crunchyroll and Bilibili in select regions.

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is a light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. Studio DEEN animated two seasons of the anime adaptation in 2016 and 2017. Studio Drive will handle the animation of the third season and the spin-off adaptation of the light novel, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World.
Yen Press publishes the English version of the light novels and describes the plot of the spin-off as:
