The preview for episode 2 of Insomniacs After School anime has been released. The first episode is set to premiere on April 17 at 24:00 (JST). Studio Liden Films is animating the series, under the direction of Yuki Ikeda.
After getting to know each other in the first episode and learning that they both suffer from insomnia, Ganta Nakami and Isaki Magari continue to hang out with each other at night. As the days pass by, Isaki proposes that they should formally establish the ‘Night Fun Club’ as part of their school club roster.
With the abandoned observatory becoming the default place the duo spends breaks in, they decided to pimp the place up. They got a sofa that was meant to be thrown out as decor for the observatory. As they finish moving the sofa, a plump cat suddenly barges in and sleeps on the sofa. Seeing the cute cat, Isaki decides that the cat is a club member as well and they name it Tsuu-chan.
Rintaro Ikeda is doing the series composition, Hiroki Fukuda is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. The cast for the anime includes:
