Strict Action Will Be Taken Against Attack on Titan Illegal Uploads

Official Twitter account for Attack on Titan manga editor made a statement about illegal uploads on December 24, 2020. The statement is as follows:

Kodansha is taking strict actions against illegal uploads. Currently working on identifying the root of the leak. All other illegal uploads are also under discussion with the police. We hope you will continue to enjoy our official products.

You can read both versions of the statement below:

Hajime Isayama is the author of Attack on Titan manga. Moreover, it runs in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. Not only that, but Hajime Isayama himself said that the manga is very close to being finished (1-2%). This season we have the pleasure of watching the Attack on Titan Final Season anime. It was anticipated so much, that it even “broke” the internet with its first episode premiere! What’s more, the new season took a dark turn way faster than anyone would’ve anticipated. It’s strange to think that we might’ve not experienced Attack on Titan at all if it wasn’t for Kodansha accepting it. In case you don’t know, Weekly Shounen Jump once rejected the Attack on Titan one-shot that Isayama submitted to them! We really encourage you to support the mangaka instead of reaching out to illegal Attack on Titan uploads!
