Akane grew up captivated by rakugo, a style of Japanese storytelling where a single performer brings entire scenes to life using only their voice and gestures. After her father’s career is crushed by a harsh judgment, she sets out to prove he was wronged. Starting from the bottom, she pushes through strict training, rival apprentices, and the pressure of living up to his legacy, all for a chance to stand on stage and be heard.
