In the year 199X, the world is destroyed by nuclear war, leaving behind a brutal wasteland where only the strong survive. Society has collapsed into chaos, with the weak constantly at the mercy of violent gangs. In the middle of it all walks Kenshiro, a lone fighter marked by seven scars on his chest and trained in the deadly Hokuto Shinken style.
