Goblin Slayer Season 2 revealed a preview for episode 4, which is scheduled to air on Friday, October 27. The training ground for new adventurers got attacked in the previous episode, so Goblin Slayer immediately comes up with a plan to fight. The upcoming episode will be directed by Hazuki Mizumoto and storyboarded by Masayoshi Nishida. Kenji Terao and Minoru Morita are the chief animation directors, while Hideyuki Kurata is once again writing the script. Animation directors include Vercreek, Masayuki Fujita, Nobutaka Oota, Takumi Nitta, Naomi Miyata, Hiromi Takada, Isoroku Koga, Unison, Kazuyuki Ikai, and Yumiko Kinoshita.
Goblin Slayer anime is based on the light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. The light novel features a slew of characters, none of which have personal names. The titular protagonist is known as Goblin Slayer and rarely takes off his helmet. WHITE FOX animated the first season which aired in the Fall 2018 anime season. Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown sequel movie followed in 2020. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose is also ongoing.
Yen Press is publishing both the light novel and manga series in English and describes the plot as:
