Hell's Paradise Ticks Down to Season 2 With Limited-Edition International Watch Pre-Order Release

The Toei Co., Ltd. official X (formerly Twitter) has announced that TV anime Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku will receive a limited-edition run of 1,000 wristwatches available to the general public. The black chronograph (also functions as a stopwatch) wristwatches are priced at 27,500 yen (~$189) and will be released at the end of November, just 2 months before Season 2’s premiere. Instead of the commonly used numerical time system, the watches incorporate the seasonal time (Edo no Koku) system used within Hell’s Paradise‘s Edo period. The Hell’s Paradise watch also references Gabimaru’s ninjutsu with a red flame motif. Meanwhile, the back of the watch has its unique edition number. Aitai Kuji has picked up the watch for international release, also set to ship in November, and similarly priced at 27,500 yen / $189. It’s officially described:
This model, designed based on the worldview of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, is a fusion of traditional watchmaking technology and Japanese design. The dial features a 24-hour counter that incorporates the seasonal time system, and a unique display that shows the time using the zodiac signs and numbers. The 60-minute counter incorporates the five elements of mutual generation, and the 60-second counter incorporates a Japanese umbrella pattern as a motif, and each part of the design is imbued with a Japanese flair.

Toei Co., Ltd.’s Hell’s Paradise watch follows Garrack’s Demon Slayer watch, released this month and inspired by 7 characters, including Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Rengoku. CASIO also released two Haikyu!! watches, inspired by the Karasuno and Nekoma high schools.
