Kinnikuman Anime Reveals Teaser Trailer, Key Visual, First Cast Details

The upcoming Kinnikuman anime by Production I.G revealed a teaser trailer, with the first details of the cast and character visuals of who they will be voicing. The anime will premiere sometime in 2024. Kinnikuman will be voiced by Mamoru Miyano while both Mayumi Kinniku and Prince Kamehame will be played by Akira Kamiya. The anime series adapts the Perfect Origin arc of Yudetamago’s Kinnikuman revival manga which began serialization in 2011. The Kinnikuman series as a whole ranks among the best-selling manga series of all time, with over 77 million copies. Kinnikuman‘s writer Takashi Shimada voiced his excitement for the new announcements on X, including Mamoru Miyano‘s casting. The writer is currently recovering from a knee operation.

The Kinnikuman website describes the plot of the upcoming anime as:
The three types of hero groups – justice superheroes, demon superheroes, and perfect superheroes – each raising their own righteousness, will unravel their tale in a new three-way fight! Amidst that, the roots of these fighters who hail from the ‘superhero’ species will be revealed, along with intense human dramas within their respective organizations, new offense and defense-minded hero techniques, and an unchanging drama of friendship…!

Everyone has a reason to fight in their hearts!
